Screen repair fees for Razer Blade 17 (2021)

Hello guys!

 

When I turn on my laptop, Razer Blade 17, the screen displays the booting screen then crashes from top to bottom like Tetris filling the entire screen black, however, everything else is working except the screen. I can connect it to a monitor, and it shows the contents of my laptop just fine. The only problem is the screen of my laptop. 

 

I would like to ask how much is it for the repair fees of my screen and how long does it usually take to get repaired? I am planning to go to Singapore and get it fixed but I want to know how much the estimated price is so that I can prepare that amount.  Do you have any contacts like email or any social media accounts that I can talk to for this matter?

Razer’s Laptop screen costs somewhere between 80 to 120 bucks on 3rd party resellers like eBay, if you can’t sending it to Razer. Poeple usually install it their self with a bit technical knowledge, if you want to repair it on computer shop maybe plus the work fee, in that case they should order the part and know in advance your blade monitor number since depends the model the pin connector might be different. From your description probably display pin connector a bit loose or defect, I’d probably check the wiring first and make it tight if I were you.

I'm not really good with handling tech stuff, however, if you have a recommended youtube video link on how to check the wirings, I can check it out and try to do things myself before ordering a new screen.
