Scroll click requires hard press to work

I've had the Deathadder Elite for 3 or 4 years now and just today the scroll wheel click now requires a very hard press to register a click. The clicking noise happens at the normal pressure but i have to press further for it to work. This is mostly used in web browsers to open another tab. I thought it was just a browser issue until I tried it in a game and realized pressing hard made it work. Is this a hardware issue? Time for a new mouse?

      Its a dead rat by the way, why not give it a shot? Open mouse and clean the wheel. Check the mid click, if its not working properly, replace it with a new one or borrow one from another healthy rat:big_grin_: looks like this
