I need technical assistance with a Secure Boot problem on my Razer laptop.
Device:
- Model: Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model (Mid 2021)
- Model number: RZ09-0409
- Operating system: Windows 11
- BIOS version/date: Razer 2.02, 12 November 2021
- BIOS mode: UEFI
When Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS, the laptop immediately displays:
“Secure Boot Violation. Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot policy in setup.”
Windows starts normally when Secure Boot is disabled.
I have checked that:
- Windows Boot Manager is the first boot option
- BIOS mode is UEFI
- BIOS shows “System Mode – Deployed”
- BIOS shows “Vendor Keys – Active”
- Secure Boot keys appear to be present
- BIOS 2.02 is the latest BIOS version listed for this model
I also ran Windows system repairs. DISM and SFC completed successfully. I rebuilt the UEFI boot files using:
bcdboot C:\Windows /s X: /f UEFI
The command returned:
“Boot files successfully created.”
However, enabling Secure Boot still produces the same “Secure Boot Violation” error.
The laptop is outside the warranty period. However, this appears to be a BIOS/firmware or Secure Boot compatibility issue rather than physical damage or misuse. Please assess whether this can be resolved through official instructions, a firmware update, or another software/firmware procedure.
