Hi there guys.
Installed Razer control centre only to find out it doesn't do anything for the microphone.
Installed the Stream Companion App and tried testing the "emoting" functionality of the microphone. Nothing appears on the mic at all.
Tried setting it so it always has something showing on the screen and nothing.
Did I get a dodgy microphone?
I've tried reinstalling software, using different usb ports and nada.

Exact same problem as above. Installed all software, mic's connected, mute/hot light works, but "test" buttons don't do anything. Can't seem to get microphone LED display to do anything.

Glad I'm not the only one!
Luckily mine is a review unit, but so far not looking good. I'm going to hazard a guess that it's a software fault rather than hardware issues, but it shouldn't be bugged like this on release.
Same here, funny thing I noticed is that while using audio visualizer, the lights work fine, so I assume it must be some sort of issue with the streamer companion app.

Didn't try the audio visualiser , is that inside razer synapse app?

Yes, the module you can install.

Brilliant, I'll try that when im home, just to rule out a hardware issue on my end

I opened the "Chroma Visualizer" app and set my default playback in Windows to "Speakers (Seiren Emote)" and the playback in the app to the same.
I get nothing...
can you do a screengrab of what you have your setup like?
Side note: has anyone else noticed that the microphone isn't exactly loud?
I had it on 100% volume, sat about 20 cm away from my face talking at quite a decent volume and when I listened back to the recordings, it didn't sound loud at all compared to my logitech webcam audio

Update for you in case you still have the issue, I just uninstalled and reinstalled both the streamer app and Synapse 3, and now everything is working normally.
Before anything else, please make sure that you have the following:
1. Synapse 3 latest version installed and Seiren Emote detected
2. Chroma Connect or “Connect” module installed and enabled
3. Streamer Companion App installed and detected in Synapse 3 “Connect” tab
4. Twitch/Streamlabs account linked
If the issues persist, please send me a PM with your Synapse 3 logs so I can help you troubleshoot.

Reinstalled both programs and now I have the streaming app showing in synapse connect.
Both programs detect the microphone.
Still nothing shows up.

OK!
Deleted Device Drivers from my PC. Rebooted. Re-installed the Microphone.
Now it's working!
Nice! Now send me a PM with a link to your stream. I'll try to check in every now and then :wink_:

Not to ruin the mood now, but I think the software still does need improving.
I had the microphone displaying the "razer chroma audio visualizer" earlier and the whole thing crashed on me. Microphone had a bugged-out visualizer on it, the program completely crashed, then the microphone stopped working again, requiring a full system reboot.
Also, because of my living setup, I rarely ever stream Seems funny as this is a microphone for streamers, but I'm not going to turn down the chance to review some new tech (Amazon Vine review unit)
I also agree, I don't know if is also possible to just incorporate this into Synapse 3 as a module.
Still though, lights on a studio microphone, this thing is amazing once you get the kinks.

Yeah, I don't know why we essentially need 3 different apps to control one microphone.... Control Centre, Synapse AND Streaming Companion...
Also, I've noticed that even without the app crashing, the microphone screen will stop working.
I had it displaying a background, the "LETS GOOOOO" gif thing and after an hour or so it stops displaying it.
Changing anything in the S.C.A doesn't do anything, it simply refuses to display anything after a while.
Honestly it's so buggy right now.
Rebooted my PC and it's not working at all again now.
Working fine one moment, not working the next. This thing is so buggy
