Hello Razer Support,
I’m trying to submit a service/support ticket for my Razer product, but I’m unable to continue because the system does not recognize my serial number.
After entering the serial number, I receive the following error message:
“We were unable to locate your serial number in the system. Please check that you have entered the correct serial number.”
I have double-checked the serial number several times and made sure it was entered correctly. I also tried scanning the barcode to make sure I did not misread any similar characters, such as 0/O, 2/Z, or 1/I. However, the barcode scanner reads the exact same serial number.
I also tried registering the product through razerid.razer.com, but the serial number was not accepted there either. The website showed the following message:
“UNRECOGNIZED SERIAL NUMBER. Please double-check similar characters such as: ‘I’ and ‘1’, ‘O’ and ‘0’.”
Because of this, I cannot proceed with creating a support ticket or registering my product.
I found a similar issue reported on the Razer Insider forum, so I would like to ask for assistance with validating my product serial number and helping me continue with the service request.
I can provide the serial number, a screenshot of the error messages, barcode scan result, and proof of purchase via private message if needed.
