Purchased the Basilisk Ultimate with the dock from Best

Buy. The lights are second to none with the comp. I've been a long time Logitech fan for years now, and... .. wait.. You don't need a history lesson from me.

This mouse isn't capable of multi function keys, another words, linking "any" 2 keys together into one. Unlike a smarter company "Logitech" who has had this feature with their software for years. Razors Synapse software wouldn't even recognize or see any of the window keys at all. The software forces you to select their preassigned 2nd keys if you want to ad one rather then wisely letting you choose.

This is my first razor owned, and I'm very disappointed they couldn't implement something so basic like this in their software. For this one reason alone I'm returning this mouse, and avoiding any Razer products (as pretty as they are) in the future....

If there is a way, please someone shed light on this. I'm trying to one button a copy screen "screenshot" which require pressing a window key, & PrtScn at the same time. I have 2 days before the return. Thanks in advance, if not, your still cool! Never give up on your dreams!!
You can assign multi function keys, but oddly the Win key isn't an option. To do this, you have to check the "Include Modifier(s)" option and select which modifiers you need to use with the key. But as mentioned before, the Win key is not present in that list of options. But I have tinkered around with it and I think I found a way you can make it work. Here is how you can use the Win key with multi function commands:

In Synapse, open the mouse and choose Customize to configure your buttons. Choose the button you want to modify. Select the Macro option and click on the Configure Macros. Under Macro List, click the + button to create a new Macro. In the next window over, click Record and create your button combination. Click Stop when you are done with your combination. Rename the Macro to your choosing. Click the back button to go back to the mouse customize window. Now assign the macro to the button you want and choose your playback option, then click Save.

I tested this out with the Win key + Print Screen and it worked for me.

I hope this help.

Thank you sir, You-Are-Awesome. I hadn't even known a macro could be downloaded, (not to mention modules) till you pointed it out to me! in retrospect, I should had explored the app more before assuming - lesson leant. Thanks for taking the time out of your life to help educate me. Keep Hope Alive! 😃
