Setup on Windows Synapse 3 for Mac use?

Hello, I just purchased a Deathadder V2 and I was really let down that the software isn't compatible with macs. I have a M1 and have tried a workaround and it doesn't work. I don't really care for adjusting the RGB, I just primarily want to change the button inputs to be part of my video editing workflow. I have a really old Windows 7 laptop, I could probably set up Synapse there. I was wondering can I set what would be a mac input using Windows' Synapse 3? Example: "Cmd, +"? Anyone have experience doing this and can advise? I really like the mouse, just without it's customisation it really doesn't feel like I'm getting the full experience or what I paid for.
