Just picked up this mic four days ago and everything works well, with the exception of the mute button. There have been three instances where I pressed the button, and the button proceeded to flash erratically between red and green, and only “muffle” the mic. It wouldn’t entirely mute it according to friends of mine. I would try pressing the mute button again to “un-muffle” it but the button was stuck flashing erratically between red and green and the only solution was to unplug the microphone and then plug it back in to get the microphone working properly again. The microphone shows up just fine and seems to be working well with Synapse. The mic shows no signs of physical damage, and I’ve not bumped or dropped it.
I did a quick Google search into this issue and have seen a few people post on other sites about this happening but I could find no solution. Is there a way to remedy this or is this a sign of a possibly defective product?
