Sila Hardwire Mesh?

Is it possible to hardwire 2 Sila's for a mesh setup? I currently have a Sila in my basement but I also have an Ethernet cable ran from the basement to 3rd floor. Would it be possible to hardwire them for the mesh feature or would this just act as another router and not have the mesh features?
