Sila web interface unable to access


Sila web interface - I can’t access it ( after bypassing the warnings that the domain isn’t registered etc) password is not working, and there’s no reset - nothing.

I have tried every pw I’d have used, and there’s no forgot pw option

- I am using ethernet connection and just want to check (& adjust if neccesary) channel and network ip settings.

What password is required here, anyway??
… My “all-in-one" pw? the one on the router? (I haven’t done hard reset, as I suspect that won’t fix this problem, and then I’ll be stuck)

This was a great router, but I would’t buy another Razer device of this is the support … I can still use and access other brands that are far older.

sila.razer.com domain is no longer available. If you tried to login to GUI via this domain name - then it will not work.

Dunno what’s your configured network IP subnet on the Sila, but it’s standard IP is 192.168.8.1 so you might try to access it via IP address.

If it’s still not responding on a computer connected to Razer Sila network click on start → cmd and type “ipconfig” and “Default gateway” should be the Razer Sila IP address.

For the password thingy - there is a sticker under the router, with it’s default username/pass - you might try this - unless you’ve changed it. If you changed it then only factory reset will help here.

Tried resetting and gettin via its detaulf ip address (192.168.8.1) ?

But does it even ping this ip address when you’re connected directly via cable to the router?

I have the same issue - I can’t access the GUI on either.

 

“WebGUI is disabled. Please re-enable WebGUI through Razer Sila app, under "Advanced" setting” - The app has been removed from the store so that’s not an option either…

 

I guess no one is able to get into the mesh and try to “update” it..

Oh well…. Gonna spend 183 euro on a new router and throw away the Sila 💀
