Single Key RGB issue

After my son took one of his toy cars and ran it back and forth across my keyboard a few times, I know have an ALT key that is going thru the spectrum cycling but not smoothly. It blinks and goes at a much faster rate than every other peripheral I have. There are no issues with any other keys on the system keyboard, my razer keyboard, mouse or mousepad. If I recall there were possibly some other keys blinking when I got back to the computer & they made error tones when I pressed them but after that everything was fine. I have uninstalled & reinstalled Synapse once already. Any ideas on this one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
