Sleep issue - laptop stuck in hibernate mode | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hello, yesterday my Razer Blade 15 Advanced (early 2020) went into hibernate mode while I was using it, then it doesn't return, it doesn't turn on. The white standby light is flashing. I tried to close the laptop and open it, I tried to hold the power button for a long time and sometimes several times, nothing happens, the laptop remains in standby mode. I also tried using the connected power source. Nothing happens.

This problem occurred right after I changed the auto-sleep mode to "never" because I wanted to leave it to download some files during the night without having the risk of the computer sleeping. Ironically, a few minutes after applying this configuration, the laptop went into hibernate mode forever and never comes back. Can you help me, please?

Note: I've found some steps on how to solve the issue in the link below, but I can't move forward with it if I can't turn it off and turn on the laptop stuck in hibernate mode. Is there a way to force it to turn off? Maybe disconnecting the battery (I don't want to take the risk to disconnect in hibernate mode)

Your best choice is to probably remove the battery and put it back in. Had a problem similar to this a while ago but with a different laptop, I would remove the battery for a couple seconds and put it back in or you could be patient and wait for the battery to discharge and charge it again.
There's not much that you can do if it won't wake up. You either have to wait for it to run out of juice or disconnect then reconnect the battery.
