software issues


so basically what happened is windows got updated , razer surround pro stopped working which i had to uninstall and install 7.1 surround sound , which needed an activation code , which i didn't have . now , i had the headset for around 4-5 years which means its warranty is done , i tried to get support but unfortunately couldn't due to its warranty my question now is , how can i use the 7.1 feature like i just used to , if i can't get the activation code nor download a different software ?
