Sound Issue with Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023

Good day, dear colleagues,

last week I purchased your Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 headphones on Amazon. I am a big fan of your company and own many Razer devices due to their high quality. However, I encountered a problem: with the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 headphones, when I play Counter Strike 2 or generally listen to music or watch videos, the sound becomes muffled and sounds like it is coming from a barrel, making it sound terrible.

it seems to me as if something muffles the sound and it creates an effect like in a barrel, as if some limiter prevents the sound from being clear and good and muffles it and the sound comes out like in a barrel

maybe there is a way to reconnect the headphones to the computer, i.e. completely remove it somehow and reconnect it, or download a new driver, or enable some function somewhere

I have Windows 10 64-bit. I have downloaded all the necessary software for Razer products, including Razer Synapse, and adjusted the sound and gaming mode to my preference. But when I enter the CS2 game, the sound is bad again. I also adjusted the sound on the computer itself, tried many different options, but the problem remained. Therefore, I am reaching out to you.

With respect to you

You have two options: either disable spatial sound in the Windows sound settings for your headphones (but your audio will sometimes glitch, getting louder and then quieter), or sell them and buy new ones. Trust me, I've tried absolutely everything. I reset Windows and tried to fix the sound using third-party apps, but nothing worked.

I haven't been able to fix the sound for two years.

So, in this situation, I'd recommend doing what I did: sell them and buy yourself the new V3 Pros or a different pair.

thanks for the response. although i love my razer keyboard and mouse, im going to refund the headphones and probably buy a different brand.
