The previous version (Razer Tartarus Pro) had a spacebar below your thumb (button 20). This was used to either jump or sprint in FPS games and is one of the most important buttons on the device. The position of the spacebar under the thumb allows to move with the WASD key while holding the sprint key or jump and the same time. Instead we are now expected to use our thumb with the the analog thumbstick for WASD movement instead of the spacebar for jump/sprint. The issue with that is that most games do not allow mixing of keyboard keys and gamepad axis/buttons. They will in some cases switch profile (with many issues) or in most cases not work at all, so basically the analog thumbstick is useless for most games. Additionally the analog joystick is rotated 90° counter-clockwise. So now we miss one of the essential keys on the device and it has been replaced by a thumbstick that can’t be used in most games and on top is badly implemented, making sure we can never use it. Is there a vacancy in the product design department? I’d like to apply.

How about that caps lock light? How do disable that? I think their design team is pretty top notch. Though I did just try to use that space bar last night. Their development team needs serious help. I learned quite a bit about this since I left Synapse in July. Absolutely no reason for any of this to exist on older products where the issues have been reported.

A new device maybe. As an electronics technician with some programming skills this bothers me a lot. I offered my business to help with this device and they chose to use an influencer. Look where we are now.
