Strange noises from Razer Sorround 2.0

Hello i have a problem with the Razer Sorround software and when i switch on Sorround i get very weird noises like crackling and sometimes it overdrives a lot since i updated to Windows 10 2004 (had 1903 before) the sound just doesn't work properly anymore it would be really nice if somebody can help me. my standard audio driver works without any problems but as i said before with Razer Sorround is this problem. i have reset my computer several times to see if this is the problem but it seems to be a problem with Razer Sorround itself i have also tried to log in with another account and i really hope someone can help me.

    I just reinstalled my PC and have exactly the same issue.. Razer Sorround software (old version) does not work.. If you try the 7.1 that cost money.. It works.. But you have to pay to get it ..

    Do you mean the software that comes with certain Razer headsets or THX Spatial that you can buy separately? I tried THX Spatial and I get the same sound that I want but I haven't gone back to Update 2004 yet.

    I'm currently running 2004 (os build 19041.388) Just to check i installed : THX SPATIAL AUDIO, right now Sound without "strange" scratching noise or any other problems, like the Razer Sorround software had. I also tried the other solution with installing it as legacy hardware, it did not work for me.

    So you're saying that THX Spatial Audio works fine on Update 2004? Are you able to get the same sound settings that you had on Razer Surround in terms of sound enhacement? From my experience I'm not quite able to get to the EXACT same sound (using the same EQ settings and dials for bass boost, sound normalization and voice clarity) but it's 95% there. Spatial Audio EQ has 2 extra frequency settings as well.

    I must say i have never played with the EQ Settings. So i'm just happy to have something more than stereo..

    I think you're missing out. I found these settings when I bought my Hammerhead Pro's almost 2 years ago: Turn off stereo enhancement, set the bass boost to 75, sound normalization to 20, voice clarity on, presence level to 0 and volume level to 100. For the equalizer, set 125hz = 8, 250hz = 2, 500hz = 2, 1khz = -2, 2khz = -2, 4khz = 0, 8khz = -2, 16 khz = 5. Lemme know (or anyone else) how you like it afterwards. I'm hooked to this sound, especially in games.
