Still no Synapse update...
Do they even care?
Might need to return this POS and finally switch over to logitech z.z

Just created one of my first NEGATIVE amazon reviews because this is pathetic.

Hey there! Sorry for the inconvenience. Our Support Team is still investigating the Razer Synapse 3's behavior. Please send your computer's Razer Synapse 3.0 logs by following the steps here. Save it via Google Drive or to another online drive account, then include its link in your PM or submitted case. I'll wait for your follow-up.
Used it one time before the same issue occurred. I've been watching this thread since Sunday
I think my Synapse had an update and it doesn't look much better, I don't have the annoying pop up but I can't do aynthing in the settings. Also I can't even add a new profile to it 😕

That's right. There's a released update for Razer Synapse 3.0, which addresses the "no preview" issue for Razer Kiyo. Have you tried signing in a guest user? Please clean reinstall the Razer Synapse 3.0 and check if it helps.
mine is now working, i uninstalled AVG and it now works, not sure if that's what the problem was or just something related, but its working now so im happy, also i didn't notice any update for synapse

Sweet! Thanks for confirming. Please update this thread or send me a PM should you need further assistance.
I do not have AVG. The same issue still exists.

Please check your firewall settings too. Should the issue persist, please clean reinstall the Razer Synapse 3.0 and update the software. If the same behavior happens, please send me a PM or submit a case.
So my Kiyo and Synapse 3.0 are playing nice now. I did not uninstall anything. I did restart all Razor services and I did receive an update when I opened Synapse 3.0.

The popup is gone but no settings can be made :frown_:
So I uninstalled Synapse and uninstalled all other camera-using software and now got a different problem. "Preview deactivated" and I'm still unable to adjust any settings. Not a great fix during a time were many users need the camera for work...

If that can help you because with the other pilot "Razer Kiyo" it does not work for me.

• Go to Control Panel ► System & Security ► System ► Device Management ► Cameras ► Razer Kiyo.
• Razer Kiyo double-click.
• Open Device Driver ► Update ► Search on my Computer ► Select from a list on my computer.
• Select USB video device.
• Restart your computer.

I'm stuck with this popup when I try to run Synapse to change settings on my Razer Kiyo camera.

Clicking either button does nothing and no other UI controls on the screen (e.g. Advanced Settings) do anything.

Therefore I can't adjust my zoom or any other camera settings.

Help please.

Windows 10.

I called up yesterday and told them to speak with the tech dev team about this issue. Low and behold, Synapse updates and the problem is gone!

There was an update pending. Installed and knock on wood... seems to be working now!

Nothing on my side, everything works fine.
I updated Windows, restarted and watched Razer Central update itself. I started up Synapse and everything works again for me.

so i think i know what triggered mine to come back. its the ripsaw hd capture card. does anyone else have that and the kiyo and can confirm that the ripsaw overwrites the kiyos drivers? because mine does and causes this bug again
The Synapse update seems to have fixed the issue for me as well.

No Ripsaw here. Never heard of it.

Totally worked for me, now allows me to control my camera from Synapse and save the settings. Didn't work with the Kiyo driver (which is very surprising). Thanks!
Hi there, I just received it, installed and I'm having this same issue? I have done everything suggested in this forum without any fixes.

Help 🙂
