Stuck with "Game scanning in progress" while trying to link games with chroma studio profile

Has anyone come across such a problem? I have no problem while trying to link games to my tartarus gamepad profile. However when I try to link games to the Chroma studio profile, Synapse 3 takes forever to scan for games on my PC and it never lets me to add games manually. Any idea who to make it work? Thanks a lot!!

    I tried re-installing synapse 3, doesn't work. Tried reinstalling windows, worked for a while but then it became stuck again

    Problem solved. Somehow I need to use the "Linked game" tab to do it instead of the "Device tab" to do it Shouldn't need to do it so indirectly but somehow it worked for now

      I was having this problem. I waited a few hours for the scan to finish, I just thought it was taking a while since my games are running off a HDD. Following what you did worked for me as well. Thanks a lot.

      I have no such problem while linking games to my tartarus pro, only when I try to link games to chroma studio profiles it became stuck. So I don't think it's a HDD vs SSD problem.

      I had found this little workaround myself few weeks ago, but they should release a hotfix because something is wrong. If you try to link a game in the mouse and keyboard section, Game Scanning is already done. Only in the Chrome Profiles section there is a problem. Have a great day.
