Dear Razer Support, I am requesting assistance with my Razer Blade 15 Base (Early 2020), Model RZ09-0328, as I am experiencing a Secure Boot issue that prevents me from using certain software requiring Secure Boot. Issue Description When Secure Boot is enabled, the laptop fails to boot into Windows and displays the following message: Secure Boot Violation Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup. When Secure Boot is disabled, Windows boots normally. However, applications such as Valorant cannot run because Riot Vanguard requires Secure Boot to be enabled. BIOS Update Issue To resolve this, I attempted to install the official BIOS v1.06 update from the Razer Support website. However, the update does not complete successfully: The updater launches normally. It progresses through the update process and reboots the laptop. After rebooting, Windows starts normally without any BIOS flashing screen. Checking System Information (msinfo32) confirms that the BIOS version remains 1.02, meaning the BIOS was never updated. Additional Information Model: Razer Blade 15 Base (Early 2020) – RZ09-0328 Current BIOS Version: 1.02 Original Operating System: Windows 10 Current Operating System: Windows 11 Secure Boot enabled results in "Invalid signature detected." Secure Boot disabled allows Windows to boot normally. During the BIOS update process, Windows also displays the following warning: A driver cannot load on this device. Driver: amifldrv64.sys I have already: Disabled Memory Integrity. Confirmed Windows is installed in UEFI mode. Confirmed the system disk uses GPT. Verified Windows Boot Manager is intact. Confirmed the BIOS version remains 1.02 after every update attempt. Request Could you please advise on the following? Is there a newer BIOS updater that is compatible with current versions of Windows 11? Does my laptop require an intermediate BIOS version before updating to BIOS v1.06? Is there an alternative BIOS recovery or update procedure for this model? How can I resolve the Secure Boot "Invalid signature detected" error? Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your guidance. Kind regards, Angel Gabriel
