What are the common signs of a swollen battery in Razer devices, and how can I identify them early?

On my Blade 14, the trackpad stopped functioning properly. Right clicking (holding down the trackpad) requires excessive force, like A LOT. Thought it was the trackpad, until I discovered the whole battery thing. Sure enough, puffy battery.
If there’s a spicy pillow, I’d remove the lid and remove the battery before it’ll make more damage to the laptop.
