My problem is that I set up the synapse of making the ESC key so that when I press Shift + ESC it will leave the symbol ~, because it is printed on the key and I need for some Portuguese words. However, when making this configuration, my ESC key stops to working with ESCAPE function and is only printing the symbol ~ several times. I would like to know how I can configure my keyboard so that when pressing the ESC key only it works as ESC and if you press SHIFT + ESC it will show me the symbol ~. If I press FN + ESC he's show me the symbol ` but never the other symbol.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your concern here. Have you tried replicating the issue by logging in as a guest user in Razer Synapse 3.0? Should the behavior persists, please clean install your Razer Synapse by following the steps on this link and see if it helps.

Hi, I did all the tutorial informed and the problem persists, when pressing Shift + ESC the symbol is not typed. Could you test the same keyboard on your computer and see if it is possible to make the symbol ~ with the shift pressed and use the ESC key normally in programs?

Thanks for pointing that out. Does the behavior happen to all programs? Do you have a key bind or assigned something to your ESC and shift button (e.g. made it function as a Hypershift)? Does the issue persist while the Razer Synapse 3.0 is disabled? Have you tried creating a macro for creating the tilde (~) symbol by typing ALT + 126? Please send me a PM together with your device serial number. Let's continue from there.

Hi Speed, I believe that creating a macro would not be the correct solution, as the keyboard comes with this symbol on the key as many others and all others work. Screenshot of System Information (Hit Windows+R to open the Run box. Type “msinfo32” into the “Open” field, and then hit Enter.) b. Screenshot of Windows version (Hit Windows + R. Open the Run box with then type winver) c. Screenshot of Synapse version (Click the gear/cog icon at the top right. For Synapse 3.0, click “About”). d. Synapse 3.0 logs. Save the files via Google Drive or to any online drives then paste the link in your PM. I'll pick it up from there.

The problem is resolved, to make the symbol I need use the keys FN key + Shift Key + Esc Key I received the reply from Monel who works on the Razer support, with that the symbol I need is being typed correctly, we can end the thread.
