when switching the dpi profile during the game, a banner with the number dpi in the lower right corner does not pop up. However, if you just sit on the Internet and switch dpi, the banner pops up

    That's normal behavior. It was brought by our users years ago. They suggested making the DPI overlay not show in games as it can tab you out if you accidentally clicked on it.
