Synapse 2.0 not installing drivers for Seiren Pro | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hi!

I’ve been having an issue with my Seiren Pro drivers. A few weeks ago, I started having issues with my Seiren, where it would make me sound like a robot for a few seconds, then turn off. Sometimes it would stay on, but wouldn’t pick up any sound. I figured it might be broken, so I stopped using it for a while. Then I tried uninstalling the device and Synapse 2.0, and it instantly started working normally again, albeit with worse quality because of the missing drivers. I have now reinstalled Synapse 2.0 and the microphone still works normally, but it won’t install the drivers. When I check for updates, a download pops up that starts at 75% and completes in a few seconds, without any drivers actually being installed. When I check for updates again, the same update that I just downloaded/installed reappears.

The update contains the following:

  • Razer Seiren Pro Driver
  • Razer Seiren Pro is now fully compatible with Windows 10. GLHF.

I am running Synapse 2.0 (version 2.21) on a Windows 10 computer. I found a post from someone having similar issues a few years ago here.

I’ve looked around online for the drivers, but they don’t seem to be available outside of Synapse 2.0. Is there an archive or something similar somewhere? I have tried clean reinstalls of Synapse 2.0, uninstalling the device and following the steps suggested in the post I linked, with no luck.
