Synapse 3.0 not detecting Abyssus

Hi. My new Abyssus Essential won't get detected by Synapse 3.0.
What I tried:
- Plugged and unplugged the mouse several times
- Reinstalled Synapse as per instructions on this forum (deleted Razer folder both in Program Files and Program Data)
- Deleted Abyssus / HID-compliant mouse drivers in Device Manager

None of this helped. USB drivers and BIOS are up to date.
Im running Win 7 64-bit - I had no problems last year with my previous abyssus essential on an older version of synapse.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Your mouse should be supported on Synapse 3.0 by design. How does it currently appear in your Device Manager? I'd appreciate it if you can put up a screenshot of that here.

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to solve the issue in the meantime - I had to disable driver signature enforcement. After that, Synapse found the mouse and I was able to set dpi etc without a problem.
