Synapse 3 chroma apps list is always blank

I have tried:

• Re-installing the application
• Downgrading to 2.0
• Adding and removing profiles
• Reformatting my computer

Nothing has changed the fact that this software won't list out my installed games/apps. I have seen all over the internet that this is a common issue but no one ever comes to a resolution.
