Synapse 3 cutting on non-game sound | Razer Insider

Hi, 

I seem to have some sort of sound issue while Synapse 3 is installed. When a game is in focus I get the following:

  1. Delayed sound from background apps, i.e. if something plays it misses the first 2 seconds. This causes me to miss important queues on things like Flight Sim
  2. Sometimes sounds altogether go up in volume i.e if a video plays on youtube then volume increases on everything and practically blows out my eardrums. 

I know this is synapse and not the blackshark v2 (2023) headset as I uninstalled the application and I had no problems. Also used it on another pc without installing Synapse and all was good. 

 

I have played around with all the in app settings, still issues. I have even done multiple uninstalls and nuked all the residual files & reg files then reinstalled. Even if I kill the app and it's background services I still get the problem. Regardless what I do, the issue persists when Synapse is installed and playing a game.

 

If no game is running, it’s as if all other audio services are now at the forfront with no delay or random volume boosts. 

 

Also worth noting that all my drivers and versions are up to date. 

 

i’m also getting this issue, just got the v2 pro and my sounds cutting out when people join discord or i mute, and first couple seconds of songs cut out as well just tried uninstalling synapse and it works fine now ty for the partial fix at least
