Synapse 3 download issue

I just bought a Blackwidow Elite to replace my Blackwidow Ultimate and of course, found out it needed Synapse 3. Every time I try to download Synapse 3, right at the end, i get an Unhandled Exception .NET Framework error and the software refuses to open. I have seen that many people have had this issue, but could not find a solid answer on how to fix this. Has anyone had this issue that has had it resolved or does anyone know how to fix this? I attached screenshots of the error.
