So I just bought a Razor Ornata V2 keyboard thinking it was a great purchase.But Synapse 3 software is horrific.

Slow to load, crashes, and you press things and nothing happens, or if it does then you wait for minutes for a delayed reaction.

Really really disappointing. And reading the forums looks like a really bad purchase. I thought forthe price this stuff was premium. But......

That sounds like something is off? Do you have the keyboard plugged directly into the usb on the MB? I had something similar happen with my keyboard and plugging it in that way worked and then after the install of drivers and synapse working I was able to move it to a usb hub.

Also try a clean install of synapse. Razer's support has been solid for me.

I tried the clean install, it is plugged into the back of the computer, everything works fine the keyboard. Just the software. And when I read the forums, appears it not a isolated issue.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your Razer Synapse-related concern here. Have you tried replicating the issue by logging in as a guest user in Razer Synapse 3.0? Should the issue persist, please send me a PM together with your device's serial number and Synapse 3.0 logs. Let's continue from there.

I gave up, Synapse 2 loaded fine but did not recognize the keyboard. I loaded 3 back on, takes forever to even load up. Even getting to the log in screen takes about 5 minutes. Then everything is just slow.

I am returning the keyboard tomorrow and getting a refund.

Oh the sign is as guest, you cannot do. It comes up with with stuff about how your anonymous to us, please consider using a Razer ID. it does not allow you to exit that popup window, the only thing you can do it is press Connect using Razer ID, which takes you back to the login window.

My PC is modern and fast and this is the only software I have ever used that literally freezes and stalls at every mouse click and takes forever to do anything. Keyboard looks and feels great, But if I cannot customize the keyboard colours, etc, then its of no use to me.

Sorry to say it's already packed up again and ready to be returned to the store

Sorry for the mishap. I got advice from our Software Team that they are currently investigating our Razer Synapse 3.0's behavior as the Chroma Connect is affected. Some users reported that their devices/apps are not syncing with our software. By the way, I've sent you a PM. I'll wait for your follow-up.

Check your computer's firewall or anti-virus, and see if it is blocking any Razer-related files. Also, are you connected to your home network? Ensure that there are no restrictions that could prevent the Razer Synapse 3.0 to load. Should the issue persist, please clean reinstall the Razer Synapse 3.0 and see if it helps.
