Synapse 3 latest update and ThermalTake connection issue

johnnyblu84
Hi, Ok so I updated the Synapse 3 software today to Ver: 3.5.831.82315 and after I restarted and started up synapse and tried to sync my ThermalTake RGB Plus software with Chroma and could not connect, which is vary odd because I never had this issue since I built my pc, only now after this update. I tried running a repair on the synapse software and that did not fix the issue, then I tried a full reinstall, but that did not solve the problem at first. I found that the only way to get both software's to work together again was to keep selecting Choma Connect Enable in the TT software until it does connect. I think this is a little disappointing as there was zero issues before the latest Synapse update. And I hope this is not affecting to many of us and a possible fix will be found soon. Synapse: 3.5.831.82315 Chroma Connection: 3.5.0806.080617 ThermalTake RGB Plus: V 1.3.7, F 2.0.3

I have the same issue. what is most odd to me is that synapse shows the ThermalTake controller in chroma, but TT RGB Plus does not detect Synapse. I know that there a few threads about this issue starting to pop up reddit. seems like a big screw up on Razers part. "If it's not broken, don't fix it!"

ive got the exact same issues, only since the last update.. Ive checked all the wiring again for all my lights an pump an the thermaltake just woent connect like it use to.. it takes like 20 plus attempts to connect.. ive found aswell not using chroma visualizer ive got a chance to connect.. just using chroma studio helps to connect after afew attempts.. would love this to be resolved asap tho cause its making me regret building a razer pc..

Update - Ok Razer just put out Synapse Ver. 3.5.907.90217 that in the release notes states a fix for Chroma Connect issues, well sadly it did not fix the issues in regard to connecting to my ThermalTake fans. So hopefully the next update will Fix this issue.

Same problem here, i tried to take off TT option on Synapse 3.0, restart my PC and now the option disappear like magic. Probably Razer disable that option for fix it?

Update: Hey everyone, ThermalTake just did a update for their TT RGB Plus software that along with the previous Razer Synapses update has seemingly fixed the Chroma connection issue. I have not had a problem connecting since installing the TT update. Hope this helps
