Synapse 3 Software and Installer Silent Crashes Randomly | Razer Insider

This is getting really old.

Windows 10, system has a mixture of Synapse 2 and Synapse 3 because I have an Orbweaver that needs 2.

Synapse 2 works flawlessly, never crashes, always runs well, etc .

Synapse 3 is a complete crapshoot. I'll launch it 5 times in a row and get 5 different results:

1) Launch the icon, get a loading spinner, and then silently just goes to nothing like it didn't even try.

2) Launch the icon, get a splash screen, 5 seconds later, silent crashes to nothing.

3) Launch the icon, get a splash screen, almost draw the main UI, silent crashes to nothing.

4) All manner of timing variations between.

This was causing me to fall behind on versions, so I tried to run the "Modify" deal off the installer. Same Russian Roulette behavior:

1) Run Modify, get a spinning icon, silent crash to nothing.

2) Run Modify, get a loaded screen (finally), attempt to click on Repair, silent crash to nothing.

3) Run Modify, get a loaded screen (finally), attempt to click on Updates, silent crash to nothing.

4) All manner of timing variations between.

Finally, on one of the installer attempts, I was able to get the "Uninstall" to both click and successfully run all the way through. Cool, so now I have V1.0.131.817 downloaded and I'm trying to do a fresh install.. guess what the behavior is. You guessed it! Set a random timer to crash:

1) Run the Installer, spinning icon, silent crash to nothing.

2) Run the Installer, get the loaded screen (finally), uncheck all the additional features (Hue, etc) and just try to get the base Synapse 3 to install, crash right in the middle of making selections.

3) Run the Installer, get the loaded screen (finally), uncheck all the additional features (Hue, etc) and just try to get the base Synapse 3 to install, get to click the Install button, briefly displays the installation progress bar, crash to nothing.

When I say "Crash to Nothing" - I literally mean the program just closes out silently, does not report any errors, and is not left running in a background process. It's literally like a silent exit set to some random timer between 1-30 seconds that makes zero sense. It's like the devs just put one giant TRY / CATCH block around the entire codebase with just "EXIT" as the thing to do when it encounters an error.

I have no idea what the heck to do anymore. My windows 10 updates are all current. I don't have firewall software stopping anything while I try to install. My .NET version is 4.8.03752

I have the same issue after the last update. I've uninstalled/reinstalled...and it still crashes. I have sent feedback bugs back, and nothing. I have tried to email support through the website and it won't let me email them, apparently because of "covid", which I don't understand since you can code from home..

Nobody responds to the feedback, even when stating that. No new updates. I have tried disabling any Antivirus/Malware, and that isn't it...it's Synapse.
