Synapse 3 version 20240813 caused profile autoswapping to fail to work

As the title suggests, after updating to version 20240813, the profiles associated with games or programs no longer automatically swap. This is true for the profiles when the program starts or is swapped to via Alt-Tab. The profiles can be swapped to via the taskbar, but when the program is closed (or becomes the non dominate program) nothing happens, it requires the profiles to be swapped manually.

This functionality was working just days ago, so something must have occurred within the update.

it flat out reset half of my saved (AND onboard) profiles to “default” for no reason. And trying to import saved keybinds from a backup I have is impossible because it ONLY shows Synapse 3 profiles, not synapse 4.

Having the exact same issue here since the most recent update of Synapse, issues with the profile swapping,it just doesn’t work.

You have to do it the way that you have said above for things to work.

What i have also noticed is i don’t know if you use Discord but the overlay doesn’t work properly either and thats with synapse installed.

To make matters worse synapse makes applications hang when you say finish playing a game it hangs for a few seconds then returns to normal.

I backtested this by uninstalling synapse and installing my old setup using steelseries GG and everythig works perfectly with GG installed.

So definitely a Synapse Issue-i get the strange suspicion it is audio related somehow somethig even with the THX drivers.Just a suspicion though.

Bottom line is RAZER You Have To Fix Your Broken Software.
