Synapse 4 and Ornata V2 STILL BROKEN

I've come here in frustration. V3 of Synapse is about to end support so I updated to V4 to find just the keyboard not doing its simple spectrum cycling in sync with my other razer devices

 

I've reinstalled Windows 4 times thinking it was a driver issue. Each time a different process, like let windows update 1st, or install the Razer software before the windows update. Each time disabling Windows dynamic lighting. On the 4th time I went back to V3, just synapse...none of the other bloatware. AND VOILA ITS ALL SYNCING AGAIN.

 

Then I've read a few times in these forums about issues with the LED sync with Ornata V2 and Synapse V4...some posts are 11 months old - the only answer is looking for logs. To me is spells a severe lack of testing!

 

And yes Ornata V2 is getting old, but it still works perfectly fine. I dont have a single key thats worn out nor sticky.

I have a

  • X870E Taichi Motherboard.
  • Basilisk Pro 35k
  • Mouse Dock Pro
  • Ornata V2

 

My suggestion to anyone using this device is to forget Synapse V4. Or create more e-waste of a perfectly fine product and buy another brand. I steer my other half for gifts like this….but I will tell her not to anymore….what a joke.

I have to same keyboard and the thing is that not only did they practically stopped support the keyboard, but the newer version is inferior for V2 so there is nothing reasonable to replace the keyboard. Besides my son faces the same problem. Only way to get something similar is the buy different make. As long as this works and if I get Opera to have nice effect I will have at least two browsers in use to have the keyboard effect after Razer stops support.
