Synapse 4 Bug for Tartarus Pro - Actuation key travel adjustment not saving

Problem: Actuation key travel adjustments do not save, and stay at the default 2.5mm, when setting all keys using the sync all keys to say the max 3.6mm... it will does change all keys but not for the secondary key function which stay at 2.5mm!!!

This is the most annoying bug, as it literally prevents the functionality of this type of device. So, I’d be very grateful if it could be fixed. Then maybe I can at least half use it for something other then using it to catch dust 🤷

I have posted this in the old beta thread but seams that’s not being looked at any more by Razer.. This was buggy on Synapse 3 and broke in beta. So, wasn’t surprised to see it still when Synapse 4 was taken out of beta with a load of other bugs included.. Even some more bugs, as some things that were half working are now completely broke.. Awesome progress 😂

Before anyone says reinstall it, etc.. I’ve already tried all the 101 tricks of installation fixing..

Same here. It is massively annoying and makes the feature unusable.

The only workaround i’ve found is to raise the slider of the first function actuation slider and it will raise the secondary function actuation slider bar as you raise the first. I then moved the first slider back to it’s starting position and the second slider stayed at maximum (or as high as you want to keep it). Then when I saved it, it stayed saved.  Not sure if this will work for anyone else.

its same for me tartarus  pro no work in synaps 4 and  kraken v4 pro no working in synaps 3

This is a known bug in Synapse 4—the actuation key travel setting applies to the primary function but doesn’t save for the secondary key function, which stays stuck at 2.5mm. It’s been broken since Synapse 3 and sadly still isn’t fixed. Since reinstalling doesn’t help, the best option is to report it directly to Razer Support and hope they patch it in a future update. For unrelated needs like Qatar visa check, here’s a helpful link.

It sounds incredibly frustrating to deal with a bug like this, especially after you've already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps. Software issues like this can be tricky, especially when updates and fixes don’t resolve everything. Have you checked for any more recent updates or patches for Synapse 4 that might address this issue? Sometimes, going through some additional resources can provide tips on fixing glitches that aren't easily solved by reinstalling. If you’re looking for more advice or solutions for tech-related issues, you can explore some helpful resources here. Hopefully, Razer will fix this soon, but in the meantime, it’s worth keeping an eye out for any unofficial workarounds that might help.
