Synapse 4 installer

I am unable to install Razer Synapse 4 on my system.

The installer (RazerInstaller.exe) crashes immediately on launch with the following error:

System.ArgumentNullException
at Microsoft.Extensions.Logging.LoggerExtensions.Log(...)
at Razer.Installer.Bootstrapper.App.HandleException(...)
(Full stack trace available if needed)

System details:

  • Windows 11 version 25H2 (Build 26200.8524)
  • Clean system (no third-party antivirus)
  • All Windows updates installed
  • .NET runtimes installed:
    • .NET 6 / 8 / 9 / 10 (all present)
  • Windows System File Checker (sfc /scannow): no integrity violations found

Troubleshooting already performed:

  • Re-downloaded installer multiple times
  • Run as administrator
  • Disabled antivirus
  • Clean boot
  • Deleted Razer temporary and AppData files
  • DISM + SFC repair (no issues found)
  • Tested compatibility mode (Windows 8/10)
  • Tried fresh Windows user account

Result is always the same: installer crashes immediately before installation starts.

It appears to be a bootstrapper failure on Windows 11 25H2.

 

  1. Is Razer Synapse 4 officially supported on Windows 11 25H2 (Build 26200)?
  2. Is there an offline installer or MSI version available?
  3. Are there known issues with the RazerInstaller bootstrapper on Insider builds?
