Hi

I just installed Synapse 4 and after the installation my BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed are working as normal but now my laptop itself no longer has sound. Speakers are missing from the list of sound devices. How do I add them back in?

Before installing Synapse 4

After installing Synapse 4

Realtek speakers are missing. Please help me bring them back.

I’m on Windows 11 and Blade 15 Advanced (2020)

I fixed it!

Go to “Device Manager”, there’s a group called “Other devices” and under there I had three “Unknown device”.

Double click on one of those and find one that under Details tab says something like “ROOT\MEDIA\0001” - go to Driver tab and click Update Driver, then follow onscreen prompts. For me it led me to Windows Update and installed some Intel package and magically Realtek sound is back :)
