just upgraded to synapse 4 and its chroma today. I try to add the ripple effect to my keyboard and spent a long time figuring out that the the ripple effect is only responding to my mouse click but not my keyboard click at all, no matter I chose all keys or selected keys, which are the keyboard keys. this is really frustrating.

Synapse 4 ripple effect not working
I have had the same thing happen since updating to Synapse 4 with both Reactive and Ripple. I also lost several of my color profiles while migrating over from 3 to 4.
EDIT:
I found my missing lighting profiles in my user data folders, still in XML format and I can’t get it to grab these missing profiles even tho the others that it did grab is there too. Honestly, with all this headache, I’m thinking it may be better to return to 3.
I have the same exact issue and Im on a blackwidow chroma V4, I have no issues with 3 but 4 has this lag issue. What’s even MORE annoying is on my brand new potato laptop that never had any razer installed on it before does not have this issue. I had a ticket with customer support opened for 2 months and at one point they thought it was my keyboard so they RMA’d it and still no luck. Im not sure what’s up with 4 but Im not exactly a fan. My main rig is a full blown gaming computer, I’ve used razer for YEARS without issues and this is my first time where their software just full blown let me down.
I have also upgraded to Synapse 4 and my ripple and reactive effects dont work. Is there no fix?
Honestly, Razer Synapse 4 is straight trash. It doesn’t work as smoothly as version 3, I don’t understand why would they release such a buggy and incomplete update? 💀
