Synapse constantly asking default device

I have a Windows 10 machine, with a BlackShark v2 headset. The Synapse 3 window keeps popping up, pestering me to change my default sound device. I am purposefully using my external speakers, so it should not be bothering me to do so once I've finished the initial setup and installation of my new headset. I avoid constantly plugging in/unplugging the cables too, to avoid wear n tear. Can you please fix this issue? Thanks
