Synapse Enters Failure State After Several Days - Any Macro Execution Then Causes Immediate Crash Until Windows Reboot

Summary

Synapse works normally for several days after a Windows reboot.

Eventually, Synapse enters what appears to be a failed or corrupted state. Once this happens:

  • Executing any Synapse macro causes Synapse to immediately crash or terminate.
  • The issue is not tied to a specific macro.
  • Multiple different macros exhibit the same behavior.
  • Chroma freezes in its current state.
  • Synapse functionality is lost.
  • Macro functionality no longer works.

Recovery

Once the issue begins:

  • Restarting Synapse does not permanently resolve it.
  • The problem immediately returns the next time a macro is executed.
  • The only reliable fix I have found is a full Windows reboot.

After rebooting, everything works normally again for several days before the issue eventually returns.

Reproducibility

Once Synapse has entered the failed state:

  1. Launch Synapse.
  2. Execute any macro.
  3. Synapse immediately crashes.
  4. Chroma freezes.
  5. Repeatable 100% of the time until Windows is rebooted.

Troubleshooting Already Performed

To avoid the usual first-round questions, I have already tried:

  • Rebooting Synapse and related processes.
  • Reinstalling Synapse. (Repairing Synapse)
  • Updating Synapse to the latest version.
  • Updating Windows.
  • Testing multiple macros.
  • Confirming the issue is not isolated to a particular macro definition.
  • Checking Windows Event Viewer (Application and System logs).

Additional Observation

I do not see corresponding Synapse application crashes, faulting modules, or related errors in Windows Event Viewer when this occurs.

The fact that a Windows reboot restores functionality for several days makes me suspect this may be some kind of resource leak, service-state issue, driver issue, or other condition that accumulates over time rather than a problem with any specific macro.

Has anyone else experienced this behavior, or does Razer have any logging or diagnostic tools that would help identify the root cause?

System Information:

  • Windows Version: Windows 11 26H2
  • Synapse Version: 4.0.896
  • Device(s): Blackwidow V4 PRO

One additional question: where is the actual support ticket submission page?

I've spent more time than I care to admit navigating the support site and have been unable to find any way to open a ticket for this issue. If there is a direct case submission path?

At this point I'm posting in the community forum primarily because I haven't been able to locate a clear "open support ticket" option.
