synapse failing to launch after fresh install-

as the titles says, i have an issue with synapse v2 not launching at all. it simply 'syncs with cloud' and promptly closes. this is both on boot up and when i attempt to launch it. i have tried various things, all of which will be listed below. -fresh installed v2, promptly updating. either fails to launch just after download or the next time the pc boots. - cleared this cache: C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse\\Logs\\Razer Common Configurator -messed around with boot orders. i would like to get this working so i can go back to enjoying my headset. any other recommendations?
