Synapse is messing with the volume wheel on my headphones

Recently, the volume wheel on my Kraken Ultimate has been changing the volume by a lot more than it usually does, (6 instead of 2) and I’ve discovered that this only applies when I have Synapse 4 active. Even Synapse knows it’s bugged, because when I use the wheel with the volume settings open, it shows that the volume was supposed to change by two, and then corrects itself a split-second later.

I’ve tried:

  • Factory resetting the headphones on Synapse
  • Unplugging the headphones and removing them from Synapse
  • Many computer restarts
  • Reinstalling Synapse 4

...all to no avail. I couldn’t find anyone else with this problem, so I figured posting it here would help anyone else who may have this problem in the future. To reiterate, this does not happen when I exit Synapse, only when it’s active.
