Recently updated to this version of Synapse on my machine. Before this, my Razer Basilisk v3 Pro was working fine, now it will not enable the SMART-REEL even though the radio button is turned on.
I’ve swapped the profile, deleted it and recreated it, swapped to FREE-SPIN and back to TACTILE with SMART-REEL off, and then turned it on, and it still doesn’t work.
It is connected via bluetooth, and it never had a problem before.
OK guys, I can recreate the problem and fix it, what I do is turn OFF the mouse and turn it ON again, reel works, BUT if I go to SYNAPSE software or get it focused on, it STOPS work again, and I need to restart mouse again to get it work, hope this helps. Mode is wireless 2.4.

I don’t get how this is not more urgent for Razer than seems to be the case. Top of the line product, super-duper cool features, in your own words: “most advanced mouse yet”. But the software now makes the smart-reel useless. It’s been 20 days now. Every single new Basilisk Pro sold in april could basically be returned because this is just not true at all:
And apparently we cannot even roll back to a previous driver where it worked. Or: nobody answered that question. I love this mouse and specifically I love this feature. It’s not there anymore. Will it be fixed or not? And: when?

Yes. It’s back. Life sucked without smart-reel. That was 27 terrible days. But hooray for fixing it. Thanks!

I'm having the same problem suddenly the smart-reel free scrolling not working
I have 0 problem on windows 10 and now in windows 11 my tactile spin is not working even after a year than this posts. Good job razer.
Tactile + smart-reel stopped working like a week ago on WIN11, I hope it gets a fix
no fix so far. win11 24h2 and no smart scroll...the free spin sensitivity is up way to high and makes the mouse nearly unusable. I switched to my naga trinity..on win11 there’s tons of bug for synapse for nearly all devices i have.
yes i to have the same issue, Really sucks when you spend over $100 bucks and then get the wireless charger for the mouse tactile wheel to stop working tried playing BF6 or COD and weapons keep changing because tactile is not working!! Who the hell came up with this software CRAP!! what an idiot! that person should be fired good idea but not for GAMING!! your loosing your FAN base for messing up a GREAT product. its not useable in a gaming environment!! Please go back to the button for free spin!!
