Question

System not receiving "Adequate Power"

I have a razor 15 base model and when I go to put my laptop into gaming mode, I am unable to because synapse is telling me that the laptop is receiving inadequate power which is stunting my performance. I have no every changed charging adapters and my laptop came with a 180W adapter. I also checked my battery life and it is at 96 percent, and have noticed zero swelling. I was wondering what I can do to fix this inorder to get the maximum performance out of my laptop.

I’m having exactly the same problem, since updating Synapse. Though in my case it has also ‘lost’ my profile. Annoying.

Thats what happened to me when I updated my synapse, I am curious if or when it will be fixed.

I'm having the same problem thought my power supply was broke but now i see its happening to a lot of people i have the 15 base with 180watt supply . Razer really needs to test these updates more before they release them. This is annoying. Razer please fix this .

same issue as well. razer will take a few months to fix if they do at all.

I am having the same issue on my Blade 15” Base 2020. Does Razer ever acknowledge these threads?

Same thing is happening to me - the fan speed won’t change making games difficult to play.

I’m on a 2019 base model

For mine, I can manually change the speed to maximum.

I too am having the same issue as of 6/10/23. Massive loss in FPS on call of duty. Unplayable. Would the kind folks at Razer please address this issue ASAP. Your update is making me want to replace this 2022 17inch RB Pro gaming laptop!

For real hopefully razer cares about the customers that bought there product over trying to just push out new crap to get new customers who will just be in our shoes.

Doesn’t seem like I need to put the details of my issue because I’m having the exact same issue. I was about to buy a whole new power supply. Glad I looked here

I just exposed this case in several social media sites just for people to see their bad customer service.

Tried to report to razer support but they seem to want every little type of info out of me before they can help. Kinda sad since many people are having this issue

Yeah this is insane. I called to inform them but the representative hung up on me in the middle of me explaining and the worst part was she was making it sound like there was static

The least they can do is address they know of the issue. This just seems like a lack of respect to the customers @Razer Admin

Let fix this issue by not buying razer products ever again and let the community why they should not, that’s what I’m doing,

I’d rather the issue get fixed so I can use what I paid for.

Razer answer to fixing the problem: We will send a synapse update soon 😅

CITRINEMayGreengeo762

Hi! Im also having the same exact problem.

hoping to be informed as to when this will be fixed:( It makes it impossible to play games. Only started happening today.

Same thing here, synapse updated today and I started to get this message.  I read on Reddit a few people started getting the message after updating on other models several months ago “https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/x7grag/error_the_system_is_not_receiving_adequate_power/”  So I’m uninstalling Synapse until I see a fix. Windows lets me put the system on high performance from Balanced the old way, without their software.  Seems to be a software issue.

I got rid of all my razer files until a fix has been created.

I tried the same but sadly my system seemed to be running even slower while gaming without synapse 🥲.I’m on a razer blade 15 2020 base model

Same issue on Razer blade 15 2020. I even bought a new power supply. Nothing changed.
