Tartarus Pro Profile Dropping

The profiles for my tartarus pro in synapse 3 sometimes randomly dies under when I'm working. It will reset to the default profile, and I have to waste time playing around with it to get it working again. Is there a more stable solution to have the profile permanently set, or at least stop it from dying on me? Synapse 2 had tournament drivers available that never stopped working on me. It's really frustrating that I updated from an orbweaver into a product that not only does not deliver on the degree of analog capability that was advertised, but also has less stable software.
