Tartarus Tartarus pro D-pad inoperable

Since the latest Razer Synapse update, the D-Pad on my Tartarus Pro has stopped functioning entirely. Every other button and function on the device works normally. I have already attempted all standard troubleshooting, including uninstalling and reinstalling Synapse, rebooting, and testing multiple USB ports, but the issue persists.

There are multiple reports on Razer’s own subreddit—some over a day old—describing the same issue from other users. This indicates the problem is not isolated to my setup.

As a loyal customer and supporter of Razer products, I expect issues impacting core functionality to be promptly acknowledged and addressed. Please provide your customers and supporters with an immediate update or a clear timeline for a fix unless you don’t mind losing them.

Got the same issue- (Had the same issue….)

It looks like when I set a key bind on the main pad it breaks the d pad key bind resetting it to up, down, left, right even if it appears to be set to i.e., “NUM 1” or “K” in synapse.

Tried reinstall, tried resetting binds and re setting. Tried setting the main pad key first then the d pad, tried setting the d pad then the main pad still broke.

So I downgradings my upgradings version 3 to hold on to it for as long as possible, or, until the app decides f this I'm retiring and  auto updating it self into oblivion. (ah ha disabled auto update - delayed the inevitable)

I guess it’s a fix if you go by the old faithful axiom “If it ain’t broke don't fix it!”

Anyway I'm off to poke my working d-pad, Razer don't take my synapse 3! or I’ll tell your mum of you. Also don't break any of my other razer toys please.

Hello community, I’m having exactly the same problem with my Razer Tartarus Pro after the latest Synapse 4 update.

When I set macros for the D-Pad first, right after resetting the device to factory defaults, the D-Pad macros work perfectly. However, as soon as I continue assigning functions or macros to other keys on the keypad, the D-Pad macros get reset to their default (up/down/left/right) behavior, even though the software still displays the custom bindings.

This behavior is very peculiar and clearly seems like a software issue introduced in the latest Razer Synapse 4. I’ve tried resetting the device multiple times, creating new profiles, and reinstalling Synapse, but the issue persists.

Razer, could you please provide a solution for this bug? It’s affecting basic functionality of the Tartarus Pro and seriously degrades usability.

Thank you.
