Tartarus v2 d-pad right button not working

I've had the device for about 2 months and the right button has stopped working. Initially it started with the button apparently sticking (similar to this:/tartarus-v2-commands-sticking.64438/), but now it doesn't work at all. It is plugged directly into my computer and the problem remains whether synapse is running or not. I have noticed that if either the device is unplugged and replugged or synapse is started while the device is plugged in the right button command is spammed until I use another button on the gamepad. Any idea if it's dead? I was hoping for a bit more than 2 months use.
