Anything I bind to any keys on my Tatarus V2 does NOT work.
I’m trying to change keypad ‘16’ to CTRL and it simply does not work.
I’ve reinstalled Synapse, reset device, etc.
Instead, what Synapse does is apply a virtual ‘ghost press’ of the buttons I’m trying to map to the keypad.
Meaning, any button I map to it, is then somehow being virtually pressed constantly. Nothing I map to my device works at all, and Synapse is to blame.
Despite anything I bind to any button, it is only the default function that happens when pressing any of the respective keys on my device.
I cannot game until you fix this.

Tartarus V2 Keybinding Broken Synapse 4
So much has been broken by Razer with the Razer Tartarus Pro and the Synapse software. You can no longer properly use the joystick for combinations like up-right, up-left, down-left, or down-right. You also can’t program combinations such as pressing E together with another key, for example E + H, at the same time anymore. That functionality has been completely removed from the programming or configuration options.
It’s an absolute disgrace. About 130 Swiss francs have basically been thrown out the window because of this. The hardware itself wouldn’t actually be that bad, but I will never buy Razer products again and I definitely cannot recommend them.

you know the worst thing about all this they are still selling this device know it does not work on their new software, Synaps 4 is garbage its doesn't work half the time and the other half it keeps crashing, i have never used such a buggy software in my life, its literally reseting all my profiles to default even if i re-import them or create new ones, if i switch profiles for a differnet game its keeps jumping back and forth from 1 to the other, why this is even available yet is beyond me, cant use Synaps 3 installer "Server access unavailable"
why could they not just make Synaps 3 local would have solved so many issues, and people could have gone back to it while the bugs are worked out in synaps 4
I bought the Tartarus V2 to replace my very aged and no longer supported N52TE, what I received is a nice piece of gear that their supposed up to date software does not support. I cannot find any link to request support to this issue. It is sad to see so many other people that wasted good money. I still have and use a Razer Black Widow keyboard that I love and a Razer Viper V3. These work perfectly so I decided to go with the Tartarus V2 which is now a great paper weight.
They got rid of version 3 of synapse so now we can’t even downgrade. What is wrong with this company
They’re still riding the momentum of past successes. I want Razer to succeed, but it seems like they’re trying very hard not to. That momentum is coming to an end and nothing they are doing today is keeping it going.
