Tartarus V2 Keybinding Broken Synapse 4

I have the same exact problem. I see no one has replied to you in over a month. Just bought the Tartarus V2 yesterday, and none of the key mapping works at all. I’m trying to set key 15 to the space bar, yet it continues to type the default “F” instead. The gamepad simply doesn’t work because of some bug in the software I assume.

Ok after some troubleshooting on my own, here’s what I did to fix the problem. Initially I installed Razer Synapse 4, and could obviously not get any of the keybindings to save in keymapping. I uninstalled the Synapse 4 and went to https://www.razer.com/synapse-3-legacy to download the older Synapse 3. I tried doing the keybinding and it worked. So essentially I’m going to say that they are false advertising when they state that Synapse 4 is backwards compatible with Synapse 3 devices, at least in the case of the Tartarus V2 and Tartarus Pro. Keymapping simply does not work on this device under Synapse 4. Razer really needs to address this issue sooner rather than later.

 I’m having the exact same issue with my Tartarus Pro. I just upgraded to synapse 4 from 3 and my Tartarus keybinds do not work despite trying to migrate my synapse 3 settings and redoing things from scratch. This needs fixing asap as now I have to roll back to synapse 3.

Still having this problem, I’m rolling back to S3 for the time being cus it’s unusable in S4. Sad. 

My problem is similar. Tartarus V2 does not work with Synapse 4. I also noticed that Tartarus V2 does not work correctly with Chroma 4, the reaction is very late. It works seamlessly with Synapse 3 and Chroma 3.

Unistalled Synapse 4 and installed Synapse 3. Back to working order. 

I have same trouble with Tartarus Pro and synapse 4. I try it even from first betas, and synapse 4 NEVER WORK properly with tartarus

Tartarus Pro:

I’ve found that when I duplicate a keybind it breaks all the keybinds and or stick functionality. The only workaround is to reinstall software but that doesn’t always work. Synapse 4 is very poor glitchy software. I think I might just buy a good keyboard. Wasting so much time binding keys and reinstalling software when I could be just playing games. Considering this is a premium £90 product it’s ridiculous. 

Do we have an official statement regarding the Synapse 4 issues? Fix? Looking into it? Or ignoring?

I have the same problem, tried it on my old pc, and now on my new rig with new installation of Windows. WIndows don´t take my keybindings. I can´t upgrade to Synaps 4. Working great in Synaps 3.

Anyone have an idé?

So, no eon can get the Tartarus V2 working with S4 and they announce we will be forced to S4 at the end of january? They are working hard to make us switch to another game ecosystem?

Still broken. Is the issue with Synapse 4 or is the Tartarus v2 no longer supported by Synapse?

Guess I’ll be finding a different company to get gaming devices from since you refuse to acknowledge or fix the issue with the tartarus v2 and your stupid synapse 4 that doesnt work with that product

I got my Tartarus Pro working yesterday.

I removed the 2 Keymap that was installed along with my keymap in synapse for controller and joystick and left only my keymap i set up.

i have my keymap as default, yet ingame it didn´t work.

Somehow Synapse 4 cant chose witch one to use ingame. 

Same issue here. Had to roll back to Synapse 3 to get it to work. I cannot upgrade to S4 without the Tartarus Pro V2 working correctly as it is my main keypad I use for games.

I use Tartarus V2 for accessibility reasons and there are very few other companies making anything like it. I can’t believe that it still hasn’t been fixed. I had to roll back to Synapse 3 about 6 months or so ago
