Tartarus v2 no longer detected by synapse.

There was some update to synapse (3.4.331.31119), which installed fine, then today I had turned off my pc, when I turned it back on, the tartarus no longer appears in Synapse, turning it into an $80 brick effectively. I have done the following: Unplug/plug in Different USB Port (both powered 3.0, mobo ports) uninstall/reinstall synapse updated mobo drivers please help.

Called support and they were able to get it connected again. Steps taken: Updated windows to most current version updated synapse to the most current version (after windows update there was a new synapse update.
