Tartarus v2 not dependable for gaming

I used the OG Nostromo n50 for about 10 years and when it wore out I didnt find anything reasonably priced or with the features I wanted. However I got the Tartarus V2 for Christmas and have been having NOTHING but frustration with it. It misses my key press and hangs up at random times. I cant count the number of times I have crashed into the ground when my parachute wouldnt deploy because the Tartarus didnt register my key press. I tried it with Synapse 3, and it was a pain and unusable with so many key strokes missed, or sometimes even wrong key binds, so uninstalled and just used it as a regular keyboard and changed the keybinds in the Warzone and it didnt work out too great, so reinstalled Synapse 3 and I havent had the wrong key binds, but now it just wont register my presses or sometimes not even work in the middle of a game. Did I get a dud or is this just the expected quality of Razer products? Based on the reviews and complaints it seems to me its both a software (Synapse 3) and hardware (quality control) issue.
