Temporarily banned for to many failed login attempts

I'm just setting up my new mouse, and didn't realize that caps lock was on ( I know./facepalm). By the time I corrected it, I get this (see attached screenshot) message when I try to log in. I want to set up my mouse. How long does this last, and is there a way to unlock it?
